Children and teens can now be protected against 16 vaccine-preventable diseases when fully vaccinated, including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, varicella, pneumococcal disease, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, meningococcal disease, HPV, rotavirus, Hib, and flu.

In the pre-vaccine era, death from these diseases was a way of life.
